I'm glad there's one in New London that offers non-dairy options! :)
We've been members of the Co-op for years now, since well before they expanded into their beautiful new space. We live over an hour away, but we retain our membership and travel down to food shop on an almost monthly basis. I would give a five-star review, but in recent years it seems there have been fewer healthy vegan options in the food bar. Other than that, though, it is a five-star joint! :)
Chef Keith's classes have not only taught me how to make salads & better (tasty) sandwiches, they introduce me to the items available in the store! Since you can't taste jars, bags & boxes now I know I have some choices & don't mind paying for something I will know I want!
We travel around the u.s and visit coops frequently. Some are bigger; some have better buffets and salad bars; some have rhings concord doesn't. But concord is "home" and the place I'm proud to bring my grandkids and friends to.
I enjoy being able to find my hard to locate items!
I think the Co-op is listening to it's members and continues to make themselves better. The fresh local produce and support of the local farmers is nice to see. I wish prices were lower and the Co-op is trying to work on that.
Love my Coop! Bulk items, gourmet items and the pre-made stuff: all an important part of our eating! Also am enjoying the new sales and the focus on vegan friendly foods.
Love the co-op! I shop there for the local, organic produce and yummy vegan foods.Very happy they carry Cafe Indigo baked goods. The one thing I don't love is how small the store is. Time to find a bigger building or expand into the parking lot. Given how tough parking is already, my vote is to find another building.
Overpriced. Thank God for Market Basket, local producers and Farmer's Markets! No real benefits to membership. Missing the point, I think.
