I came in for a routine cleaning. Without any discussion, treatment plan, or my consent, Dr. Datar billed my insurance for periodontal scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) instead of a standard prophylaxis. I was never numbed, which is required for a true deep cleaning. The appointment felt like a normal cleaning. He then told me the cleaning was "only half done" and asked me to come back. Fantastic dentists. The acton team made me feel right at home. I felt like they clearly articulated what needed to be done on my teeth.
