Been coming to Aroma for years with my first dog and later my second dog. Met tons of fellow dog parents and this used to be a spot in the neighbourhood where we could come during the cold winter days, get a drink and chat. Was kicked out by a security today because the property management decided to change the policy on the dogs. This is what you get when the businesses are out of touch with the community. Incredible.
We’ve been living here for only two months, and our experience has been fairly disappointing. When we moved in, our fridge was broken. One night, our bedroom fire alarm kept beeping faintly, making it impossible to sleep. Our door was damaged and had to be fixed, but it’s still misaligned. On top of that, the numbers on our door were vandalized—they were ripped off and thrown across a completely different floor. In almost 10 years at One32, I had one blip, with everything else I enquired about being addressed very timely. It's quiet, clean, the property is maintained; repairs as far as I can see regularly done - and the current staff are great. -Very friendly and willing to help. I also like that this is a full rental building, professionally managed, with no risk of being evicted for "family" to move in, or a sudden significant rent increase. If you like the diversity of the area, I reccommed this building.
