GET RID OF DR VAN ANDEL!! After a workers comp car accident, i was told this was the ONLY place that i could go to...later found out this was NOT true. I saw Dr Van Andel 3 times in one week. The first day, he seemed genuinely concerned about my concussion symptoms and wanted to see me back the next day. At my 2nd appt, he tested my reflexes as well as other tests. Don’t do their job. They are supposed to call the VA to verify I had an urgent care visit. Doing so allows me to utilize Pharma benefits to pay for meds. They refused to call the number they gave me to verify to VA I actually visited the clinic.

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! "Doctor" van Andel is a quack. A torn labrum (shoulder) is, in his opinion, a strain. Cannot form a complete sentence without "so, umm, umm, so...". When a second opinion and multiple MRI's showed an injury, he stated "every doctor has their own opinion" and disregards anything that he disagrees with. Now my wife is left with a permanent shoulder injury, after he had the gall to tell her "I've done all I'm allowed to do". The waits are ridiculous! There is always an excuse. No explanation or warning on arrival. They don't handle paperwork correctly. It's a complete joke. if I didn't have to come, I wouldn't!
I came in today due to a work related injury. I checked in at 2:50pm. Didn’t get called back until 4:25. The dr finally came in at 5:25pm. And now I’m still waiting to get my xray done. My vehicle is LITERALLY the only vehicle in the parking lot and I’m late picking up my child. This has been the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. And now I’ve been told that the X-ray tech is gone. I will never be back to this place
I came for a drug screen. I watched the door how many people and how often they went in and out. there weren't so many that it should have taken 3 hours to get to me. when I did go in and took less than 5 minutes. there is no way there were that many people in front of me. no apology no explanation just "an attitude" - it was really quite intimidating. as though we were being warned not to complain.
