I failed my D.O.T. physical because the doctor enforced a standard that DOESN'T EXIST. FMCSA has no minimum grip strength metric, doctor claimed a CDL holder must have a minimum grip strength of 55 pounds, that is solely his opinion. That number is nowhere to be found in FMCSA literature. Typical grip strength of a woman is 45 pounds... So he would flunk a majority of female drivers.
