RecommendedFavourite Mexican restaurant! Love it. We’ll be back soon!
Stumbled across Comuna Cantina while travelling. We enjoy our Mexican but haven't had it this good before! So fresh, delicious, and the cocktails/mocktails were a treat. Ended going back the next night. Happy with the prices too. Please come down to Melbourne! ;)

We had been looking forward to going here for a while. Booked for a Birthday celebration. Meals took too long to come out and didn't come out together. Got charged for our complimentary house drinks. Portions were small and OVERPRICED. Just as we were about to enjoy another round of cocktails. (they were good) We were asked to leave because they needed the table at 9pm. No prior notice of this "time limit" on your visit. I'm still in shock at the $300 bill for 6 people who had one round of drinks and one main meal each. Will... read more

The best service I have ever had! The food is delicious and the drinks are incredible. The thing that really makes this place is the staff. They will go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience. I felt accommodated from the moment I arrived until the second I walked out the door. Lana & Gabby were the best wait staff I have ever experienced and made our birthday party booking that much more memorable! The cocktails were delicious thanks to Mitch as well as our food from Pedro and Sarah. Our group made sure to get there names due to their outstanding service and wanted to reward them with an online post! We hope their work is congratulated! Thanks guys, we will definitely be back xx
Used to be 100% gluten free, now it’s not. Upsetting for people with Coeliac Disease who once had a safe place to eat. Disappointing. Won’t be back.
just got told by waitress she wants to go home early so we can’t come in for dinner ... horrendous service even though I booked a table online for 20:00
Went on Saturday for the first time ordered the chip platter and chicken strips. The chicken came out and was brown and some was very pink ( which I took photos of ). Went last night to celebrate my boyfriends 21st birthday. Didn’t think it would be that busy, (will have to book a table next time �) but other than that it was amazing! Food came out fast and was super filling and the cocktails were out of this world � staff were so lovely and calm for such a busy Saturday night. Also the fact that the entire menu is gluten free is awesome.
