My townhome was built by Comstock. They tiled over 3 exhaust vents on my roof when it was built. Who looks at where a vent should be, and says "ya know what, putting roofing tiles over this makes sense". The home also suffers from foundation issues. Sloppy dry wall work, wrong size garage door motor for the size of the door, cheapest possible materials used in every case, just... so many things big, little, annoying. Horrible, non-responsive company. No integrity. No follow-through.
I have a Comstock Villa built in 2013, plumbing has been an issue since I moved in. Recently I replaced my dishwasher and the drain pipe had been installed incorrectly. I called the customer service they responded, but stated, it wasn't their responsibility, because the original one they installed was installed. I had to hire a plumber to correct the drain pipe.
