Don't bother... I went in to Iris Fashions in Ferndale this morning because I recently moved to the area and like to support local business. I needed a dress hemmed for a wedding and the review posted by fashionfashionista was glowing. I entered the store shortly after they opened, and walked to the back where a man was reading his lottery tickets. Superb, friendly, quality, fast service!!! I went to Iris' Fashions to shop for a wedding gown, and dresses for my bridal party. I met Linda there. She was knowledgeable, and very sweet. She told me and my bridal party our measurements just by looking at us, and then measured and she was DEAD ON!!! It was amazing. She had thousands of dresses to choose from and all of them were beautiful. The shop isnt in the best condition, but the service, and choices of dress bypassed the look of the shop. This is store is Fantastic!! I went to nearly every store in Michigan and Iris had the best selection dresses out of any other store. The dresses are beautiful here!! The service was beyond terrific, she made me feel like family. I will definitely be buying all my future dresses here.

A Sweet Wedding Getting married? Want a traditional chinese dress? This is the place to go. They have many decorative traditional chinese dresses as well as bridal gowns. I went here to have a dress for my wedding. Lucky for me, I was able to rent a dress for the day at a reasonably low price. Tailors there are very helpful in the fitting and make sure your special day turns out fantastic.

Cheong-sam My sister was getting married, and she wanted the traditional Chinese cheong-sam. This dress shop was recommended to her by another friend who bought her own here. This shop borders Portsmouth Square. The staff was friendly and gave helpful advice. They had lots of books with different patterns for dresses.
