My external drive was working very slowly while I was using it on an older Windows computer that was working fine. I ran a Disk Cleanup and Defrag and the drives operation seemed to get worse. Then I noticed that thousands of photographs and music files were gone! I brought it to the Geek Squad (GS) at Best Buy in Dedham. Was surprised – Brought my macbook pro to the apple store in legacy place because they thought the hard drive failed. They told me that my drive wasn't spinning and could not get any data. They recommended I go to the Computer Domain to see if my data could be retrieved, I did and 2 days later I got ALL of my files back. Highly recommend!
