I went in for a iPhone battery replacement. What I believed to be a pretty easy replacement ended up being way more complicated as it had exploded and burnt some of the area around the battery. Friendly and fast service!
Took my broken iphone to computer doctor. Guy at the front desk tells me the LCD screen I installed and couldn't get to boot was fully dead and broken. He quoted me like 300 for a new OLED screen. I took it down the street to the CPR place and the guy just presses a few buttons on the phone and it turns on. He called it a "soft reboot" and I guess I had missed that doing my repair.
