took my car there for an oil change and was told that an appointment needs to be set, and then told me it would take 2 days! Just for an oil change! Said they were too busy, I looked through the garage window, people were just sitting around on the floor with no cars in the shop, real busy huh? They lied to my face!

I was recommended to Comptons through Facebook. I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this family owned business. The service was professional and friendly, (great homemade cookies in the lobby), they gave me an accurate quote and the work was completed on time. My vehicle it's running great and the cost was very reasonable. They went above and beyond my expectations in every way. I still refer them to everyone I know from now on. Keep up the great work!

Compton's Automotive, Inc in Charlotte is ALWAYS honest, ALWAYS fair and ALWAYS has the car ready when they say they will - if not sooner. We've been taking our cars there for years. "Mama" also bakes fresh cookies for the customers every day as an added bonus. It's so hard to find an auto mechanic to trust, I just had to share. And no, I get nothing out of posting this. I feel like sometimes I forget to compliment people and services that do a great job and am too quick to complain when they don't.
