I have been a customer for many years and have been very satisfied. Most importantly, they have always been honest and straightforward to deal with.
Half of this review should be against the Stihl chainsaw and the other half for the dealer. Saw has 2-3 hours on it and couldn't cut a twig. Had blade sharpened (by dealer), no better. Took saw in to see if maybe it was installed incorrectly, but they said it was right. Bought a new chain/blade.....still wouldn't cut a twig. 4-5 trips to this place for 2-3 hours of a usable chainsaw.
They did a great job at repairing and performing the Spring Maintence on my Cub Cadet ztr. Runs like a top and believe me, it was in poor shape. Very very happy with the job they did.
Not a good dealer, I don’t feel they are trustworthy. I purchased a Kioti tractor, loader, and turf tires about a year ago. At the same time, I purchased a set of Land Pride pallet forks. The first issue when signing the contract, the Compton Equipment put the wrong tractor serial number on the paperwork. The tires needed to be ordered and were to arrive in two weeks. These guys can sharpen chainsaw blades so well that I think they may be sharper than they were brand new! And they open up at 8am which means I don't have to wait until the morning is half over to visit their shop.
