Dr Joe is a good guy and an even better doctor. He makes you feel understood and heard. 2 years with my previous pain management office in Ny yet Dr Joe has made more progress for me in just a few months of seeing him.
I was released bc I didn't trust the NP Theresa..she can't even count to 30..and so I didn't want to see her again.. Dr Jo said he would give me whatever I wanted!!! He doesn't even take time to listen...he's always rushing you...he's in and out...has your money and doesn't really care or listen...I have a recording of it... and Theresa...idk how she's even a no if she can't count...how do you trust someone like that with your health and meds? It's always packed bc he's just pushing pills.... do not trust them at all!
They don't explain things correctly and they dropped me. I was definitely told not to take my pain pills from them. I had the surgery and getting painkillers from my neurosurgeon and I made sure that I would get refills up to the date of my appointment with "Dr. Joe". I waited a couple of times for the neurosurgeon to put my refills in and sometimes I had to wait several days. If I knew that I had to get my painkillers from "Dr. Joe " i wouldn't have my neuro in urgeon fill them and wait for them to be filled.!!!!! It doesn'... read more
As a living, breathing person who has seen multiple pain management teams (and had plenty of bad experiences), I can honestly say Dr. Joe and his team at Comprehensive Pain Management are different. Dr. Joe listened, did a thorough exam, and treated me like a human being—not a case file. He even laughed when I told him past doctors suggested yoga, acupuncture, or “just more injections” (after one went horribly wrong).
