I love my PCP Torrey Dickens at Comprehensive Medical Clinic on McNeese Street and she’s accepting new patients so I thought I’d give a quick shout out for anyone looking for a primary care doc. The owner of the clinic is great too. They weren’t accepting the new insurance I got through work last year, but I asked them to contract with them and they did so I didn’t have to change doctors.
Mrs. Dickens was unenthusiastic about my care, she was dismissive at best. The receptionist was rude to people on the phone while I was in the waiting room. Unpleasant experiences around every corner in that place. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Dr.Torry Dickens is the best she cares about her patients and I truly thank God she is my doctor so if you looking for a good doctor come check her out
Doctor Strauss (i dont know if i'm spelling her name right) is great. She listens, but isn't afraid to call you out when doing things that are bad for your health. The honesty and care is appreciated. The other staff are friendly as well. Good place to have for primary care.
