I had my first appointment with Dr Elgas today and I was extremely impressed. Not only were the staff wonderful but I spent a large amount of time with the doctor which is never occurred to me in any of my eye exam appointments. In fact most recently I went to another clinic and I was there for an hour but only spent 3 to 4 minutes with the doctor. I became a patient last year and underwent an eye exam. During the exam, the doctor strongly recommended that I meet with the staff optometrist and purchase a "high quality" pair of sunglasses. I did as the doctor suggested and selected a pair of Maui Jim frames and accompanying lenses. Within a year, the lenses were so cloudy that I could not adequately see. I have been a patient of Dr. Elgas for over 20 years. She is patient, professional and thorough and takes the time to answer and resolve any issues. Her staff and assistants at the practice are also warm, professional, accomplished and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend Dr. Elgas and her practice.
