I went to get a new cpap machine to replace the old one. One that I've used for 5 years. I sent out my claim to my insurance and find out that thru don't cover cpap education. I didn't know that I needed education on the same machine I was using for 5 years so now I'm out $165.00 way to scam someone.
Edit: Changing to 3 stars because the business owner reached out to me and said there actually is an option to purchase with the OHIP limit. They should answer this honestly when a customer asks. Huge scam. Do not buy here. You should only have to pay $138 out of pocket for the machine after the government 75% reduction. They refuse to sell the machine alone and sell the machine in a "package" so they can mark up the masks and accessories like crazy (you can get them very cheap on amazon or many other online retailers). I have been using a CPAP machine supplied by this company for a year now, and they have been collecting all of the data on my usage. So when I asked them if they could provide me with a battery for the CPAP machine that could last 3-4 nights for an overnight camping trip, they sold me a PILOT-24 LITE CPAP Travel Battery for about $400. They assured me the battery would be able to last a few full nights of usage before it was recharged, so I didn't look into it any further.
