I wouldn't use these guys - beware. First of all the pool has a hole in the plaster that they won't fix. 2nd the Pentair app still doesn't work after 9 months - the pentair rep told me that they would get the correct cable and that was in December (now end of March). And finally the Pentair salt chlorinator and has now broken and Chris won't call back. Terrible service and now I'll have to find somebody to fix the remaining issues.

Jim and Chris of the Competitive West Pool Construction know the design and construction of the pools and spa, since they worked in the industry for a while. However, they are a small company and don’t have good control of the supply and subcontractors. Per the contract, the project should be finished by October 1. Due to their poor planning and resource issues, the project was delayed for more than 2 months. They promised to clean up the backyard (including the backyard door), but left with a big mess. Chris and his team built a beautiful backyard for us. We got quotes from 3 companies but felt most comfortable with Competitive West. They stayed on schedule, responded to our questions along the way and built a great pool and spa. They have continued to be helpful and responsive post construction. The project included pavers and a BBQ.
