What do you do when you are declared terminal and the nursing home puts you on the curb because your medical insurance runs out? That is what we experienced due to 2024 health reforms phased out Medicaid at 65 yrs old and implementing NM Health Care Marketplace with little public instruction on integration or direction. Broken hip and broken arm. Im supposed to have PT and OT. It took several calls to get scheduled. The PT with Shelly was ok. The OT came once in 3 weeks. No phone calls, no schedule. I've called in the morning, no return calls EVER. I called in the afternoon. LM. Melanie called me and said how dare I keep calling and leaving messages. She told me to never call again. I fired Compasses. Melanie never told the PT that Compasses was fired so she showed up for nothing. Zero communication.
