I want to say that I have been a nurse for 31 years and 23 years of that a hospice nurse. I love hospice and enjoying helping people during the most difficult time in their lives. But when I was on the other side of the table and it was my mom in need of Hospice care. Compassus was there. They are deeply concerned about reviews, but not safety or quality of care. The should train the staff to transfer calls, but she is a road block to the rest it is their fault. I used to get good results from PT, but it has changed drastically. Violation of my cardiologist order for syncope by PT. I am to lay flat to prevent falls. Violation of my Neurologist to check with them for falls and go to the ED when they need to check for concussion or eval of brain bleed. The PT made something hurt that didn't hurt before. They have horrible physical therapists, he did not respect me at all. He was is odd and likes to talk about weird stuff from tabloid TV the same program. He was chasing scores. The best thing I did was fire him. He put me into horrible pain then wanted to come again the next day. Pain that was new. Well my Father is at Clarebridge memory care . I talked to the nurse Cassie before Thankgiving about my father getting his Toe every other day wrapped and put medicine on it , she said she would be there Monday . Well nobody showed all week . I was not notified that it had to be on paper , he now has an infection on his toe , they could of at least called me I would of took care of it my self . The physical therapists here are the worst in the state. They say we cannot go to the hospital if we fall yet they had me do things that were not safe and put me at risk. When I called to discuss things I was declined by a rude person who answered the phone. They are working for scores and not safe patient care. There are better ways. They took over a very good company and just turned it into trash. Why no one would work with me to help me is unknown.
