Hospice LMSW Dayle, RN Wendy and Rene as well as the rest of the team at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital in MI, have been such an amazing support to my mother and our family as we go through this process of grief. Their comprehensive care, their efficiency, compassion, professionalism and overall support has been extraordinary and we are deeply grateful.
Compassus was wonderful to my mother. I am so thankful I was able to have her at home and help care for her during her final days. They were always there when I had a question or needed reassurance. They offered support and love and I will never forget what they did for our family.
Sarah S. Was my Moms (and my) favorite Nurse. She was always compassionate, accommodating and accessible for any questions or concerns. She pushed hard to get my mom abx for a UTI after i saved a sample and explained her complaint of burning and urgency. Her cognition came back quickly after that. They WOULDN'T let my father have the quiet at home death he was begging for. They did however make sure they got as much money as possible for an in hospital death. They explained the price points of my father's death while he was 3 feet away (so compassionate) They NEVER checked on us while he was passing, not even once. They never explained what transitions he would go thru, what to expect, or what would happen next. He has been gone 9 days now and they are consistent, not a word from them. Such a relief to have a caring team for my mother, after moving her 3 times in just over 2 years, due to lack of care in other facilities. She is receiving the best care in this 3rd facility, that has Compassus on staff. I finally feel I can spend quality time visiting with her, rather than putting out fires to seek quality care she deserves. Her nurse, Karen is outstanding, and is a blessing to my mom's situation, as I am sure you will experience with your loved one.
