We had a very short time working with Compassus but everyone we worked with was great. We started Friday afternoon. Joe did our in home intake and he was helpful, pleasant and his demeanor was very calm and reassuring. Friday night into Saturday morning, Mike was the on call nurse and he was AMAZING. I had to call several times and he was very helpful and responsive. He helped me during a very difficult time. Debi came to the house on Sat. She was very nice. I can't say enough about the care that all the Compassus staff gave my sister while her health declined. Through us not understanding how hospice worked to being by us every step of the way as my sister's health declined and her passing. They just didn't stop there. They have followed up with phone calls to see how the family is doing and there are no words that could explain how thoughtful and caring they are. If I could give all the people who I delt with concerning my experience a 100 star, I absolutely would. I was a CNA for nearly 25 years and have dealt with MANY hospice companies and believe me when I say these lovely people are the best. I have never seen such caring and compassionate people. They truly care about you and your loved one, and go above and beyond to give your loved one the absolute best care possible. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. I don’t know what I would have done without Bloomsburg Compasses Hospice! They helped me in so many ways but most of all , my mother’s final day here on earth couldn’t have been a smoother transition, her nurse was just the sweetest, most compassionate and caring human! I am so grateful for the peace that was given to us that dayThank you Misty R for showing me the way!

All of the staff at Compassus were excellent to work with. They showed empathy and compassion when working with my family. Then when my brother passed they were even better. I could not ask for more and they were there when I needed them. I would highly recommend.
