Im not speaking on the behalf of the clients treatment. My wife was employed at Compassus, till she was involved in a car accident while on the clock. Long story short, accident happened in April, she has been receiving workers comp for it. Compassus just called and fired my wife for being "on leave too long". (She suffers multiple seizures a day now and is currently inpatient in Grand Rapids getting an EMU as a result of the accident.) They fired her the day before the test. I don’t have much good to say about this business. They lied to my loved one about why he was taken off his life saving medications he was taken off his heart medication and told it was because he no longer needed it. A month later he had a stroke that ultimately killed him. He kept getting bladder infections but the nurse in charge of his care refused to clean his catheter once a week as suggested by the nurse who showed up to help when his nurse was far too busy for that.
