First, we were with Sangre de Cristo Hospice community care and we received zero help for the first three days. nobody showed up, no nurses no CNA‘s. Me and my sister did everything on our own until we reached out to Compassus. They took very good care of us and our mom. Thank you Compassus staff!
My 90 year old Mom had reached a point of needing Hospice Care. Her primary Care physician recommended Compassus. We were VERY impressed from our first phone call explaining Mom's needs. Our request was met with positive response and nothing seemed impossible for her care. From her first assessment, care plan, the Hospice team, we are so very happy and grateful for them. Our family definitely made the right choice for our Mother.
These were the nicest, most caring people I have met in the medical field. When we needed help they were a phone call away. Melanie and Ashley each spent long hours with Stan when he was agitated and wouldn’t rest. Pastor Darin spent time with him talking about anything and everything. Carolina was so kind while bathing him. I was always kept up to date on where he was medically and what came next. When I needed some time away from caretaking they helped with giving me a break. I would recommend this group to anyone.
I want to thank the hospice team for all they have done for my family. They are truly a godsend. I appreciate that they always updated us on how my mom’s parents both were. They always showed such kindness and compassion both to my family and grandparents. Thank you!
We have only had this company come out to see my grandfather for a month now. Let me say this horrible. Why? Well one the nurses are not ever the same every week, new nurse. That doesn't help me or my family taking care of him because the nurse we were going to have hasn't been around since the beginning of last month. Two, how can you have someone you love be taking care of by a nurse that has no idea what he looked like a week before just looking at a chart... You can't.
