I had questions about hospice and I got a hold of Luke VanEss with Compassus in Neenah and he was more than helpful and helped me realize the actual benefits of what hospice can Do.
Losing a loved one is hard enough but having people that were supposed to care for your dying loved one mistreat and ignore your loved ones needs is even worse, my dad deserved much better and I hope you get what you deserve.

All I can say was when we engaged hospice to help when my Mom was near the end of her life, things got worse. This was 4 years ago and I hope things have gotten better, but it was a terrible experience. We asked them not to talk about end of life with Mom when they first started because she wanted to keep fighting and not yet think about that.
