I am visiting my sister and brother-in-law here in Baton Rouge LA. They both need extra care which is provided by Compassus. The minute the nurse opened her mouth I felt reassured that they in good hands. I could tell that she was not only competent but she actually cared for them. When the nurse left, my sister said that the relationship was deeper than the usual nurse and client connection. My brother and sister were so appreciative.
My husband and I needed help with my father n law and Compassus gave us the help we so desperately needed! Ms. Betty is wonderful with her patients. The nurse’s are on call 24 hours and always a phone call away if needed.
We have been fortunate to have the best caregivers and nurses available. Miss Betty gives the best showers and is very concerned with her patients wellbeing. She never rushes and is always making sure their needs are met. All the nurses, Shameka, Amber, Katie, Allie, and Katie are the absolute epitome of nursing care! Shea and Jessica, and Christy, Rick and Christian, are the kindest and most understanding people I’ve met in a very long time. As a caregiver, I don’t know what I would do without them all.
My mother recently passed and having the care and support of Compassus made all the difference in such a difficult time. I recommend Compassus to anyone. Their service is not just excellent, but necessary.
Telling a family they "probably" don't need morphine at night when a patient is actively transitioning Is trash.
