I live in North Carolina, my mom was in a long term care facility in West Virginia that we were paying privately for, she was receiving okay care, but we wanted more one on one care for her. Heather was my grandfather’s nurse, we could not have asked for better care. She was caring, friendly and put our minds at easy. We would definitely recommend Hospice Compassus in Princeton WV
The care that they have given to my wife has been exceptional. Nurses like T.J. Necessary which was her nurse from the beginning until she resigned are the best at health care and attention to detail. The CNA's Laura, Angie and Janet are very attentive to her needs and inform me of her condition and any issues at all visits. The Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator Sharon and Robin are very interested in her condition and comfort and very supportive to me also.
I may be wrong here but I feel that when you call hospice in to treat a loved one you better be sure they are on their way out. From what I have seen lately meds withheld morphine given which slows the system down which makes the Patient unable to go to the bathroom, in pain, no enema given, no insulin given. Seems like a good way to speed up the process, if you are in a hurry to get rid of them call hospice
