We recently engaged the Fort Washington group for Compassus to care for my mom in our house. The Aide, T, came every day for 6 weeks and the hospice nurse, Lori, came every week to care for my mom. I can honestly say that if it weren't for their support and care it would have been incredibility difficult to provide good care for my mom. T and Lori were extremely competent and caring. My mom had Alzheimer’s, was living at Watermark Logan Square (currently called Logan Square Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center) since 2016, and her doctor recommended hospice in early June 2022. The doc suggested Compassus, as the center’s physician was also the director of the hospice at that time, and I thought it was probably easiest/best to choose a company that was integrated with my mom’s normal care. Excellent care. Staff is amazing. The nurse Alana was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a hospice company.
Compassus provided both palliative care and then hospice care to our beloved Dad of blessed memory while he was at Pennswood Village in Langhorne PA (you don't have to use the Pennswood hospice, you have a choice). Everyone from Compassus was wonderful and made a tremendous difference in our Dad's final year, both for him and for our family. With Compassus we never had to worry about him! With the care Compassus gave Dad, his cognitive situation stabilized and improved and he was always cheerful and comfortable. I can't say ... read more
