Each member of the care team that saw my mother was kind compassionate and professional. The on-call nurses meant it when they said "Call anytime -even the middle of the night." The two daytime nurses who did health checks on Mom were always so sweet to her. The bath aide was a joy and often had mom laughing. All of them respected her dignity and humanity. Compassus Hospice cared for our family with such compassion, dignity, and love during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Every single team member treated us like family, making sure our loved one was comfortable while also supporting us every step of the way. The nurses were incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, the social worker provided resources and emotional support when we needed it most, the chaplain offered comfort and prayer, and the entire office staff was always kind, responsive, and helpful. We, the family of Don Townsend just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful care he received during his illness. The nurses, Rachel, James and Perry were so compassionate and professional in all their dealings with our family. Rachel was especially kind and respectful.
The medication for com.fort was not monitored properly by jeff. He did not monitor any of it until my father passed
