August 24, 2023 a Nurse Anna , who was on call that night refused to come to my aid after phoning her 3 times . My mother was in the process of passing, unbeknownst to me, as I did not realize what was happening . I called the Compassus number 3 different times that night and asked for her to come and she did not. Early the morning of the 25th my mother passed. Making the decision to stop cancer treatments and transition my mom to hospice care for her small cell lung cancer was incredibly difficult. Finding the right care was just as hard; we actually went through two different hospice companies before we finally found Compassus. I am so incredibly thankful we did. Spent 3 days leaving messages trying to get my father setup for Home Health and PT only to find out they do not accept but a few with his insurance. Would have been nice to have received a call right away so it didn't impact his recovery. TG
The staff at Compassus Hospice in Kenesaw are second to none. We went into this with no knowledge of how hospice works and were blown away by the caring, kindness, and professionalism. Our loved one was in their tender hands for nine days before passing on in her sleep. I would be happy to recommend this wonderful service to anyone.

If I could give 0 stars, I most definitely would. We were told by the liaison (Ms. Ana) the nurses would provide great care - home visits, medicine, run errands, help with eating, bathing, etc. NOTHING was done as promised. Do you know what my father received? UNLIMITED morphine, oxy, and other medications to basically have him "comfortable" (in their words). It seemed like they just wanted to get my father high as a kite and die in his sleep. The nurses were not compassionate. It breaks my heart to write this review. The ... read more
