They were absolutely wonderful! Caring for my Brother on Hospice and even after he passed , they reached out to me every few weeks to check in on me🙏
I’d give less stars if I could. It’s really a shame because although there are really incredible nurses and aides and some of the office staff are lovely. This a corrupt and ugly business that operates just as a business. Hospice is for celebrating life, and bringing peace to family at such a difficult and vulnerable time. The “higher ups” in this office do not care about their staff, the nurses are overworked and met with so much disrespect it’s unfathomable. I was told when we signed my father up for Hospice through Compassus, that I would get calls from the nurses every time they were out to see my Dad to give me an update. I only got 1 call from a nurse to go over the medication change and 1 call from the nurse when I requested it and she made it seem that it was an inconvenience for her to update me. Back in July 3rd, 2020 my husband had passed away and in the last week of life Compassus was there for my husband, myself and family. They were the most compassionate and healing company . I don't remember all their names but I do remember a nurse named Jeffrey. I loved him for making us get through this terrible time of watching my husband pass in front of myself, daughter and son-in-law. Nurse Amanda explained to me,everything that was gonna happen and what could happen during time of transportation.We wanted mom home while on hospice and Amanda made it happen just in time before mom's passing. Also Reverend Lugo was very helpful in the time of need for my mom's services. Thank you very much Compassus.
