Aquamation is an advanced form of pet cremation that uses water instead of fire to return your pet back to mother nature. When an Animal Hospital or family chooses Aquamation, a clean combination of gentle water flow, temperature & alkalinity is used to accelerate the breakdown of organic materials into its basic building blocks, just as it occurs in nature. Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation Inc. truly lives up to their name. They provided exceptional care and compassion during a difficult time when we had to say goodbye to our beloved dwarf hamster, William, who lived a full 3 years and 4 months. His genuine care and respect for our pet was evident, especially when my wife noticed him gently petting William as we handed him over. The aquamation process took about a week, and... read more

We were devastated and Compassionate Care eased our sorrows. Alice passed on a Sunday and Compassionate Care was there to ease our pain. I highly recommend them. They Care about your beloved pet and your family. Thank you so much for your compassion. Thank you, Patrick, Rosalie, Elizabeth and Alice Hickey. We are fortunate that you were there for us
My wife and I are very thankful of the whole team at Compassionate Care and especially Mr. Jim who facilitated the whole process. Everyone was so helpful and accommodated us the same day our beloved Lucy departed. They went above and beyond with everything, and fulfilled all of our requests without question. Even though the facility is in Oceanside and might feel far for someone coming from the five boroughs, ... read more

Having shared my life with all kinds of pets—from furry to scaly, feathered to finned—I know how important it is to honor them with dignity, even in passing. Though I was initially hesitant about aquamation, the team at Compassionate Pet Care Aquamation made the experience as gentle and reassuring as possible. Jim, in particular, was thoughtful, responsive, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly, putting my mind at ease during a difficult time. They offer a wide selection of urns, ink and clay paw prints, and muc... read more
