My sister was recently under their care for several months. Her nurse, Tricia, was an earthly angel. I know she had another nurse who was wonderful also, but during my daytimes there, I saw Tricia. We could not have asked for more. My sister was so many wonderful things, but she was not always easy for her caregivers. Having a PhD herself, and a very active mind, she was a little handful sometimes. Tricia was an absolute pro at both doing her job, and knowing how to ease my sister’s anxieties. Forever thankful
My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. My daughter and I both work and although we tried keeping him home we were not the best care option for him. He was a Very stubborn man. In any case, when it was determined , which was very quickly, that he would need hospice care, compassionate care set ihim up with a private, albeit short term, room at Pleasant Valley manor where he was for less than four days before he passed.
