I experienced the previous nurse practitioner mentioned in several reviews and also the latest one that has just replaced her. My experience with both was bad. Neither did anything to establish a sense of trust or faith in their judgement, nor a justification for their choice of prescriptions. There was a very brief 10 minute rundown of the same questions answered in the questionnaire, then straight to "I'm prescribing you xyz." Dr. Diaz is the greatest. I have had several psychiatrists, but she is the only one that has truly listened to my needs and included me in making decisions about my own care. She is easy to get a hold of when I need her and is quick to answer questions I leave with the staff. She is professinal, kind, and compassionate. I would recommend her to anyone.
EDIT: My review was 5 stars under the old owners. However, the disrespect I just got on the phone made me change it to 1 star. I made an online appointment for today a month ago. Today, they said it was in office. I asked to have it rescheduled as the type of appointment that I requested to begin with (online.) Brenda kept insisting I make it in office. I live an hour away. I got stuck with Tammy dawson and I missed an appointment and she didn't prescribed me my medicine nor was she adjusting them properly, she wanted to take my meds at every appointment and Create her own regimen that never worked glad I was discharged at this point. She did nothing helpful for me what so ever. She doesn't genuinely care about any of her patients. I left every appointment feeling unheard and a lab rat.
