it started out as a wonderful program untill my child and family left program over covid because they need to find work. compassion was not delivering money nor gifts for safety of staff so I'm told. they assumed and picked a child out for us and took money from acct all before any notification to us. they promised to refund me ! nope still no refund and took another $7.00 the next month. received a email thanking me in July for gift money for my child ( no longer there since april). wonder who is getting the use of our mone... read more

Ugh. I tried this. I sponsored a girl for 9 months before I figured out "she" wasn't really writing the letters. Her story was that she had 4 siblings and they always wrote her letters for her. I saved them all. Eventually, I got my 5th letter and something was off. I kept paying "Compassion" International until my 6th letter came. All different handwriting.
