Love love love this ministry! Compassion International serves so many children but yet when my ONE sponsor child had needs beyond regular sponsorship they stepped up to save my boy’s eyesight. He would be blind today without them. Both of my sponsor children have found Jesus through this ministry and that is something priceless. I’ve been to Uganda with Compassion and saw first hand the difference they make. ❤️
We received our second letter in less than a month. This letter tells us that another a child is automatically assigned to us. The first letter informed us that our son in Ecuador graduated from the program after nearly 10 years of sponsoring him. That's it! No phone call. No Skype option. No opportunity to meet him. Top management gets 350,000 plus salary per year. 3.3 million shelled out for the top 12. I can see getting a salary, but this is a donation ran company. Nothing justifies this type of inflated salary. Look at the 2017 taxes for details. Think of how much more could be done to help the families with all these salaries.

Their mission statement is “to release children from poverty in the Name of Jesus”. This is what they do. They do this with dignity, compassion and genuine love. I know because I have seen this ministry in action with my own two eyes, and it’s a beautiful thing!
It is an immense blessing to join with God in prayer and physical help for my 3 precious sponsored children. I love receiving letters, photos and drawings from my little ones in Burkina Faso, Indonesia and Ethiopia. They have been such treasures to me and I expect to meet each one in heaven!
