I’m writing this as a former therapist and licensed social worker with Compassion Care Group. I worked there for just over a month, and what I witnessed within this “therapeutic” environment was nothing short of horrifying. Children are frequently disciplined with room restrictions, meaning they are isolated to their rooms for days at a time. The shortest length was one day. The longest was nine days. Overall was pleased with their staff and how they handled the process with our family member!
Great staff and ownership! We were pleased with our experience here throughout the process!
Owners were unaware of certain disturbing situations. I was housed here as a resident, my personal experience wasn't all bad but, what was done to residents around me, I found abnormal and very traumatizing.
