I have had long stays at Compass after two major surgeries for hip and lumbar spine. Overall, I thought they did a terrific job. Almost all staff members were respectful and knowledgeable. The hospital also accommodated my request for more fresh veggies and fruit. It doesn't hurt that the decor is more that of a home instead of a hospital (solid wood furniture, etc). My only criticism is that the main physical therapy room is cramped. It needs to be expanded to at least double its current size.

My Dad has been in there (is currently) for almost four weeks. I want to give a well-rounded review not just a complain comment. The staff, for the most part is good. They are extremely, understaffed. The MAs, CNAs, and Nurses all have told us this as an excuse/reason not to respond to my Dad's call button. To be fair, my Dad will push the button and forget why he called them in. That's got to be frustrating to the staff. How can I say "thank you" to each and everyone one of the staff at Compass Rehabilitation? The love and support and making my stay as pleasant as possible made my experience the best I could ever get! Each one of the staff members had such an important part in my recovery. I think they only hire models, because each one of the gals are beautiful and loving (I think my girlfriend is jealous of all the attention I received). May God's blessings be with each one of you!
