Excellent experience renting with Compass. Great communication prior to move in, apartment was clean and ready when expected. Proactive assistance from maintenance staff during move in. The entire process has been very professional. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rent in the Eau Claire area.
I would recommend this property management company to anyone looking to rent in the Eau Claire, WI area; I dealt directly with Emily, and she was awesome from start to finish. The maintenance man came over on my move in day to inspect the unit, and was very professional.
For moveout, I cleaned the stove, inside and out, cleaned the refrigerator, all surfaces of room (it was a small efficiency), windowsills, etc. Went over grout in bathroom shower with a toothbrush. Cleaned the light fixtures. Apartment was old with literal paint coming off in the sink, but I cleaned that, too. Carpets were being replaced due to age, so I did not have to clean that. Not impressed by having a chunk of my security deposit taken for 'Excessive Cleaning'.

This company is by far on of the worst in EC. Do not trust them. know your rights because they will take advantage of you.
