My experience about Compass real estate in Hinsdale is very, very bad! The company made a mistake, addressed my 3,000 dollars to the wrong address and name,and post sent back with regular mail, how as if they are sending a check for $3, not $3,000, one month late !!! After that money was cashed by someone, and when I came to agree on their mistake, the agent in question,their manager Nina Fotopoulos, threatened to call the police!? Having initially reached out on Zillow back in late June 2025, about a property that was available to be rented, I received confirmation from Alexander Haried, an agent that works for this agency that I would meet an associate of his, Izabelle, on an agreed upon date and time. After arriving at the property I meet, Izabelle, who told me that the property at 615 The Lane, Hinsdale IL 60521, was already rented. They obviously are only concerned about there commissions. That’s why they should be changing commissions structure for realtors. I feel bad for the realtors who don’t sell in non affluent neighborhoods getting small commissions. I have found in affluent areas the game is to sell fast at below value so they don’t have to use up these real estate companies resources. It cost them money?!
