My daughter was pressured by the Compass agent to ask me for a down payment for an FHA loan when she qualified for a VA loan with her husband who is a disabled veteran. This would have added hundreds of dollars of PMI to her payment. My daughter and her husband were waiting on paperwork from the military for the VA loan to fund. The agent told my daughter she could refinance after closing. Fortunately my daughter consulted with the loan officer who advised her that wasn't financially sound advice. Our experience here was a shame agent Crystal Jerrell proved she cares more about closing deals than being a good agent. She knowing gave us bad advice that went against our loan officer. This shows very poor ethics. I will not trust her or compass for any further real estate needs.
