I just worked with Ty Johnson and Compass Land Group at a recent liquidation sale in Rutherford County NC. I was very skeptical at first, but after multiple conversations with Ty before the sale and his weekly updates about the property my wife and I could not be happier with our purchase. Liquidation sales are a different way of finding property but my wife and I would not trade our experience with Ty and Compass for anything. We purchased 10 acres of land from Compass Land & Real Estate about 6 years ago and camped on the land for the first year then built our home here. We could not be happier with the experience with Compass. We purchased the land well below market value and our property has more than doubled in value. I would definitely recommend working with Compass Land & Real Estate if you are ready to buy.
I recently bought property multiple times from Compass Land Group at a liquidation sale and my dealings with Ty Johnson and Ben were exceptional. The communication with Ty was great before and after the sale. If I had a question before the sale, I asked and Ty would have me a quick response within the day. Ty followed through on everything he promised and I look forward to purchasing more land with them in the future.
I have contacted Ben multiple times about listings and have never heard anything back. I have emailed, as well as, called and I never hear anything back. I wouldn't waste my time with this company. I guess their customers are not that important.
If you want to work with hustlers then be my guest. They will email you back and forth and message you to make sure you have all of the info they want you to have. They do a poor job communicating after they give you the bare minimum and stop responding to emails, calls or texts. The emails comes in with a low price for a single parcel but that’s just the “ad” price to get you there. The “ad” priced property they say they lose money on (was told that later).
