Made an appointment because I couldn’t get to St. Louis to do a full hormone panel test. I went in thought they understood what I was needing. When I got the call for my test results they had test everything but my hormones was tested. I expressed I had already been tested for the regular stuff at ssm. Didn’t even bother talking to me about if they wanted to prescribe a medicine to see where I was if I’ve taken it before and prescribed a medication that I didn’t even need and that will hurt my body over time. I have a love hate relationship with compass. The doctors my son sees are great, but the communication is lacking. There have been multiple times in the last year where I have gotten outright incorrect information from multiple different people. One person will tell you one thing, next person will tell you something totally opposite then you are stuck trying to figure out what the correct information is. Terrible people who make you get clean for 3 to 6 months if you want to be treated for ADHD. Why is the link between ADHD and substance misuse so ignored? Why don't you give people a chance and let them get to experience life while being actually medicated. SSRIS/SNRIs is all these people offer they refuse to help anywhere else despite the severity and the amount of symptoms I have.
