My name is Sydney, and I’m writing this to prevent further harm. I began care with Compass Behavioral Health in February. I was dropped without notice and had to wait two months just to see a licensed psychologist. In that time, I visited the Rolla Crisis Center four times — Each time, I was discharged within hours, still suicidal, without meaningful help. ** edit — I see you don’t respond to your community ** womp womp Compass Health in St. Robert is an absolute disgrace to mental health care. This place doesn’t care about you — they care about your money. That’s it. They will cancel your appointments without warning and then turn around and blame you for it. While a therapist might discuss potential diagnoses during your first session, it's not considered "normal" for them to definitively diagnose you right away; the initial session is usually focused on gathering information about your situation and concerns, and a diagnosis may be made after several sessions to get a fuller picture of your mental health.
