I came to Compass feeling hesitant and uncertain because this was my third treatment program. However, my experience here was completely different from what I expected. As a trauma therapist in private practice, I have had the opportunity to work collaboratively with Compass Health Center in Brookfield on numerous occasions, and I continue to be incredibly impressed by the quality, responsiveness, and collaborative nature of their care. Recommended here in fault. Did not need compass health center but this place made the little thing I was dealing with 200% worse. I don’t have anything, no mental disease, no depression, no anxiety. But somehow this place made me feel very exposed to those things and uncomfortable. Here for 2 days and was finished only to test out this new facility.

The facilitators and therapists are amazing, the staff is also courteous and kind. My issue is with how opaque the billing is. It took weeks for me to get an answer as to what kind of bill I would be looking at. They agreed to provide a hardship discount because of the situation I was in. The quote they gave me seemed manageable. Once I completed my programming my bill came back almost 70% higher than what I was quoted. Far above my ability to afford.
