I just got off the phone with Mikki from Compass Anesthesia. I had the best conversation with her. She was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My surgery isn't until next month and I was looking for additional information for my insurance co. I was able to find out everything I needed. I noticed Compass has 1.3 stars, if all the customer service representatives were trained like Mikki they would get more 5 stars. Billing is really tough when it's not correct. Requirement that I receive anesthesia sprung on me at the last minute (in pre-op) despite my request that i only have local and never being told i would get anesthesia in pre-op visits. When i called compass to complain, billing office staff was nasty, dismissive, and disrespectful.
I called them to see if I could go by their office, which is very close to my home, to pay my bill and get a receipt of payment. I was told no. ?? Said there was no way to give me a receipt other than an online payment. Based upon other reviews I don't trust that method.
Ended up with this-LEFT C6-C7 foraminotomy needed after they touched me!!!
