Today was my first time shopping at this store, and I was accused of stealing. I brought all my items to the register, everything rang up, and I was even offered a free case of water. As I prepared to pay, the cashier asked to look inside my bag. When I asked why, she couldn’t give a clear reason and simply said that people are always stealing—which felt like profiling to me.
