Yesterday, I lost my Shorty, a sweet Corgi mix. He had Cushings and was not doing well at all. I was a mess, in tears, from the moment I got to Companion. I'm still a mess, but I want to say that the patience, compassion and kindness Dr. Tarkington showed both Shorty and me, was far beyond going the extra mile. She certainly chose the profession intended for her. Liz, Kristin and Diane were also so compassionate and sweet.
