Just discovered Compadre's this week and have been twice so far, both times for breakfast. The food was excellent and cooked exactly to our order. The service was superb! Love the way they have the tables set up with extra silverware, straws and paper towels. They are very organized. Also, the large Mason jars with drinks (smart move). Great food, great service. We found this restaurant by accident and now it is an every weekend trip. Lovely people, good prices and the absolute best sweet tea- tastes like southern sweet tea should taste. The breakfast is wonderful!
Love, love, love Compadres! The owner, who is an ex-Marine, and his staff are so friendly, and the place has a very homey, welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and they are kid friendly. Love the Mexican Breakfasts, and their desserts are out of this world!!

I had a bad experience once where we waited a very long time and then was overlooked while other guests were served. They were short staffed and busy on a Sunday morning and it showed. However, most of the food was really good, so my family decided to give it another chance. So glad we did. Their service has really stepped up! Happy to support this local mom and pop shop!
I must admit, I haven't eaten a chicken fried steak in years. At the same time that I say that, this is the best chicken fried steak I've ever eaten. It was also big enough for my husband and I to share. The mac & cheese bites were yummy and fun for the kids. Their brand of chipotle ketchup was also really tasty. I was pleased they had a changing station and were kid friendly. I can't wait to go back to try something else even though it will be hard to order something other than the chicken fried steak.
Love this place and my new year's resolution is to come here more often! :)
Really good food, great variety, awesome staff.....something for everyone. According to my hubby......some "bad ass white queso!"
