Guided tour was excellent. 1.5 hrs tour. I will re-visit again.
Very disappointing at Corner Stone cafe. We specifically asked the waitress when ordering if the Fish 'Pie' was a dish with a pastry lid or a proper pie. She told us it was a proper pie only for the exact thing we didn't want to come out ..... A dish with only a pastry lid. Very sterile looking dish, almost no sauce. You expect a 'pie', to specifically be saucy. If I had realised it's a celebrity chef enterprise, we wouldn't have gone in the first place. Prefer the old Stables at Como.
Older and smaller than Rippon Lea, but more interesting because it contains the contents as they were at the time. Very good guided tour, to be precise-booked.
