Very happy with commuter cleaners. Their service is fast and done well Love the drive-through. Staff is also very friendly. If I had any complaints, it would be that I wish they were open Mondays.
Really good local dry cleaner if you are in a hurry. They have same day service on linens and shirts and stuff. I was nearby, as I travel a lot, and had to get my clothes cleaned for some meetings not in Cos Cob but nearby in New York, NY. A friend recommended I try out Commuter Cleaners, and so I did. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff. The owner is rather gruff, but when you get to know him he's actually a nice guy. He could use a haircut, though.
What's nice about Commuter is you do not have to actually ever go there. They have a sameday laundry service and sameday home pickup and delivery. So I get my stuff done, without ever having to deal with the hassles. It's great.
I have been a customer of Commuter Cleaners for years. Initially as a customer when they provided service at the Rye Train Station and then when they switched to pick up and delivery. My clothes have all been beautifully taken care of and returned on premium hangers. The customer service has been first rate. I recommend them highly. Do not hesitate to give them a try.
