I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years. I love my vet! I moved away about 4 years ago and any chance I get when home visiting, I try to bring my dog to see Dr Trish while I’m there.
Our previous vet recommended Community Veterinary Clinic when we moved to the Grove City area. All three of our cats have been now and I have been very pleased with Dr. Trish Schmitt and the staff. They are gentle, patient and Dr. Schmitt takes her time and explains everything and listens to my ideas and concerns. And it's always fun to be greeted by Tweek their resident cat!
I have to say that I sure wasn't impressed with a quote I received. I had an 18 yr old cat that wasn't doing good and falling over. She was just skin and bones. It was time, as much as I hated it. So I called and explained this and asked what it would cost.I didn't want her to hurt herself or be in pain. I was quoted "between $200-$300" .I couldn't believe it cost that much! (You must pry on sympathy) . The very next place I called quoted $42. It was very peaceful! And she is at rest.

I want to express my sympathy on your loss. Our range for euthanasia for a cat is from $47 to $200. If we are caring for your special companion as she is declining, the office call portion of the charge is entirely waived. The high end of that range also includes a private cremation, whereby ashes are returned to you in a wooden urn. This is a premium service you must have not chosen. Again, I am truly sorry for your loss and am glad you found a veterinarian to meet your needs.
We love the friendliness we receive from reception to see Dr Scmidt. explaining our little ones issues and practical solutions. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a Dr for their little family members.
They treat my dog as a UNIQUE pet. We are family! We are treated so kind and feel so welcome. I wanted a place that understood that my dog is my daughter. She is my family. She has a rare condition that will need medical treatment for the rest of her life and they made sure I fully understand and also made sure if I had questions that they were always available to answer them.
